    EEPROM maybe??

    I would like to ask if anyone has the answers to the following questions??: If yes, then please reply.

    1. Does the firmware download from a TV manufacturers web site contain the EEPROM dump info?

    2. Is the original eeprom (if erased in circuit) rewritten with a firmware install?

      Hello everyone,
      I have an Epson PowerLite S18+ projector in the workshop showing signs of a firmware fault. I’ve checked all voltage lines and signal paths, and everything seems within normal range.

      Here’s the issue: when the power cable is connected, the power LED immediately turns blue even though the projector doesn’t start. When powered on, the fans run but the lamp never ignites. After a few minutes, both the temperature and lamp indicators turn red.

      I’m attaching the backup I read from the IC in case it’s useful for analysis or comparison.

      Hello everyone, I described the symptoms and measurements here
      It seems I tried everything, my last idea is that the eeprom or firmware (or both) may be corrupt.
      I'm not able to find eeprom and firmware dumps in open sources.
      Hoping someone here has access to closed forums or manufacturer's service center resources and can help get those dumps?

      Hi,

      I have an Anker SoundCore 2 (A3105) that I saved from the trash (well, I guess there's a reason why it was supposed to go into the trash...). The problem is that it always turns off after a few seconds (sometimes it stays on a bit longer, between 30 and 60 seconds, but it still turns off). The power light turns on and the bluetooth light starts blinking, but both abruptly turn off again. The "turn off sound" is still played after the lights turn off.       I tore apart my instrument cluster for my 2008 Toyota Corolla made in 2007 in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada and pcb location: IC6=EEPROM is a surface mounted device with part # of 93C46W7, some claim the EEPROM out of a Camry part # 93C56 will allow odometer to roll over 299 999 KM or miles.       I'm currently repairing an MSI Vector GP66 12UHSO laptop with a motherboard reference MS-15441 ver 1.0. The EC chip (ENE KB9548QF2) on the board appears to be damaged and needs to be reprogrammed.

      Can someone please send me the firmware (EC/Embedded Controller) or indicate where I can download the correct EC firmware version corresponding to this motherboard model?

      I already have access to the BIOS downloads on the MSI support page, but need specifically the EC binary or its equivalent firmware image.

      I already downloaded the BIOS update file from msi official...
