This TV had a bad power board. The power board had a thermistor that had completely broken a piece off and a blown fuse. I ended up purchasing a used to power board and replaced it when it came in. The TV then came on fine and worked, but appeared to have bright spots over almost the LED's wherever LED lights were. It seemed as if it was shining too bright on the LEDs and when you dim it the TV nothing really changes.

Re: Samsung UN55H6350AFXZA with "led halos"
LED lenses have fallen off
Remove panel and re glue
Had this on a panasonic , fixed the faulty lenses , re glued with 5 m epoxy (superglue is not suitable)
Also put dab of glue on all remaining lenses
Worked wellComment

Re: Samsung UN55H6350AFXZA with "led halos"
first compare the LED BL stage ( post resistor of currents) on the old PSU and the replacement one, it may the replacement one belong to other screen size.. if this not the case then i am with R J as we saw this fault over this forum too bad LEDComment

Re: Samsung UN55H6350AFXZA with "led halos"
chrismurphy has a good point about LED lenses that have fallen off.. I repaired a 55" VIZIO 4K LED TV with 4 lenses that fell off. When I glued them back in place, I checked all other lenses, and they were ALL ready to fall off with only a small bit of lifting pressure from my fingernails. So I glued EVERY ONE.
However, due to the uniformity of your issue, I don't think the lenses have fallen off. Rather, I suspect a few of the delicate plastic standoffs that hold the LCD panel and diffuser panels away from the backlights is damaged or bent inside the panel behind that area. This would cause the LCD and diffuser panels to "warp" and sit much closer to the LEDs and display intense backlight at this spot.
I've repaired a few TVs with bent or damaged standoffs by heating the standoff with mild heat from a heatgun (160-180°C) or holding above a stove element and gently bending back to straight. If you do not use heat you risk snapping them or cracking them and I never see these for sale because they are not a high demand part... But they will be... They are making them weaker and weaker with newer TVs so you don't get any dimmer spots with them. But they "bend" under natural use.Comment

Re: Samsung UN55H6350AFXZA with "led halos"
I tore into the TV and found out that the spacers to give the diffuser (I think that's what is called) space away from the LEDs were broken. Somehow the screen must have had pressure on it at some point.. I took pieces of 1 inch clear tubing and they fit perfectly over the mount for the spacers. However it was leaving a dark Halo wherever the tubes were at so then cut them to a sharp Point minimizing where the tubing touches the screen. It ended up working really well. I'll post pictures To show just in case anyone else ever runs into this problem. It may not be a perfect fix but it actually worked pretty well.Comment
