I was gifted an RCA LED TV model LED46C45RQ a few weeks back. TV will power on, but the panel just pulses quick flashes of light. I suspect one or more LEDs in the panel are bad. I've read that you can test the strip of lights by using the diode function on your meter. I was able to test two of the strips of lights and I believe I found 2 bad LEDs on the middle strip. One of the strips, however, will not illuminate the LED's no matter how I orient the meter leads, no matter what bulb I test. Is it possible that the whole strip is bad? Or is there something else that could be causing me trouble in testing? Short or open?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
