I don't know if there are any known issues with this particular model but there are issues with LG TVs like all other LCD TVs. Are you planning to repair this yourself and what tools do you have at your disposal?

Hi i have quite a bit experience in Laptop motherboard repair, I dont normally do Tv's but as this if for a friend I said I would have a go. As Tv sets take up quite a bit of room when taken apart I decide to see if there were stock faults or common faults with this model I decide to ask before stripping it down and having a look myself.

820-00165 pulsing and stuck at S5
        by speggio91
        Hello everyone!

I have this board that got slightly water damanged and it is stuck at S5 state. It pulses once every 5 seconds.
When connected the magsafe 2 to the bench psu, the current goes from 0.02A to 0.10A when is pulsing.

When using the genuine magsafe 2 charger, the light turn on and it became green and then amber. The fan is not spinning.
When I tried the SMC bypass mode, the fan spins a quarter every 5 seconds and the pulsing is still present every time the fan spin.

The pulses are present in the CPU Vcore rails on L7320 and L7310....

Klipsch Promedia 2.1 rhythmic subwoofer "pulsing" during standby
        by Xan03
        Hi,

I have this 2.1 Klipsch set where the subwoofer emits a constant whine in standby, in addition to a constant rhythmic pulsing/thumping. Only way to make it stop is to cut power. I think this thread mentions the same issue, though my set is not a BT one: https://community.klipsch.com/index....-bt-subwoofer/

I think all this Klipsch gear is using crappy capacitors. Is it worth trying to replace the caps in the subwoofer amp to make this go away?

        LG OLED77C19LA Standby Issues
        by Bitvive
        Hi mates,

I've an issue with the standby function of the LG OLED77C19LA from a colleague.

        Device
        Model: LG OLED77C19LA

        PSU
        PCB: EAX68999802
        LG P/N: EAY65689422

He described the problem to me as follows: The device can be switched on normally and does not cause any problems.
As soon as you switch it to standby, it stays on for about 3 minutes and then switches off. It can then no longer be switched on.
If you then disconnect the power using the plug or a power switch, the TV switches on normally.
        Could this...

Vizio D50u-D1 Dead Set No Standby
        by fharris1977
Hi. I got a Vizio with no power or standby, and won't turn on with remote or button. I checked the voltages on the connector and all read 0.00V or nearly 0(0.050 ON/OFF pin). None of the pins are labeled STB for standby although I do see some 5V pins. Other than the obvious standby led, which isn't coming on, is there a way to check for standby voltage on this PS. I'm trying to see if my problem is the PS or mainboard. Some Vizios I have fixed with no standby led me to think it was the PS but it turned out being the mainboard. Any experience with this set would be greatly appreciated.

        Samsung BN44-00259A standby question
        by Crystaleyes
        Hi all.

I started a thread while back regarding TV power supply standby circuitry as it is something I am not quite on top of.
SMPS theory and function is becoming more familiar, however the standby part is still a bit of a mystery.

Anyway, a friend has this TV with the above mentioned power supply board which has no standby voltage, nor any other voltages leaving the board.
The mains AC comes in fine, gets filtered and rectified with power is on the main filter cap as well as the transformer and drain pins of the ICE3B0665J, but that's it.
