So with no luck on this course of action, i am guessing that the next thing to do would be replace the board? I have seen other posts about putting in a different main board and then changing settings in the service menu. If i can't find the same board how do i go about finding a compatible main board that i can install?

I have a main board problem too. Not the same, but I'm thinking of trying the heat method. How much do you heat it?

Not sure if the 50" version or the 46" version is compatible with this TV if so you may have to make some adjustments in the service menu after install.

Mist likely an eeprom could be had on shopjimmy? If not then it could be an NVRAM brick and therefore a replacement board is in order.
