Samsung UN55KU6500 Concave Dark Vertical Bands..

Got one of those newer concave Sammys...

It had no power and I determined it was a bad Main Video board..

Got a replacement Video Board in and the TV did come on and a picture did show up. Which tells me my assessment was accurate.. Yea Me!!

Unfortunately, there is a new problem..

Dark vertical bands...

I am hoping I just got a bum Video Board, because the only alternative I can see is a bad board where the tab bonds are secured to the display panel.. There is no TCON....

Can anyone confirm one way or the other??

since the missing lines cover the whole screen and are evenly spaced, i would say that your replacement main has issues. you could reseat the lvds, but i don't think that will have any effect.

Yea, I cleaned and re-seated the LVDS..

Good to hear it's likely a Main Board issue.. Have a replacement board en route..
