I haven't cracked it open yet. Does this look like a tab bonding issue?

That's an interesting symptom! Believe it or not I have a gentleman wants me to look at his 90" sharp that is doing the same thing! This is the 2nd time I've seen this now.

I'm putting my bets on yes it is a tab driver problem. I do not see how a t con can cause this problem as it does have a uniform picture all the way across the bottom side. The side tab drivers take that signal and serial it up all the way across the panel from bottom to top. I believe if one of those gets garbled up, It's going to take that signal and pass it on to the next carrier package (side tab).
