    LG 60PA6500 Plasma Mainboard

I have 2 LG 60PA6500 Plasma TVs. One of them recently wont power on (wont even go into standby mode) and I managed to zero down the problem to the mainboard.

I checked the standby voltage going into the mainboard reads at 3.47v for both the good and the bad mainboards.

The Vin on IC600 for both boards read 3.47v. However, I note that the Vout on IC600 for the good mainboard reads 3.32v, but on the bad mainboard it reads 0.3v. I have attached a picture of one of the boards.

Would the problem on the bad mainboard be purely due to IC600 or can other defective component(s) cause the Vout on IC600 to read 0.3v? The markings on IC600 reads EF8, which I reckon is an AP2121N-3.3 voltage regulator.

Any help/pointers before I start ordering parts is truly much appreciated.

You could have a short circuit following the regulator. It may be worth removing that ferrite bead L406 and seeing if the 3.3V comes back. If so then there is a short after the regulator. It could be a bad ceramic cap or a shorted processor, or many other possible faults.

I am having problem with MainBoard LG 60PA6500.ATS (Photo Attached) I could not find a replacement unit for the main board.

Do you know where can I buy the mainboard.

I manage to fine MainBoard 60PA6500-UG

Everything on the main board is the same, the part number is the same EAX64696604(1.1)

But 60PA6500-UG main board have a remote control in. (Attached photo)

My board 60PA6500.ATS do not have a remote control in. (Attached photo)

Kindly advice is both board compatible?

The EBT62146301 on the white sticker of the replacement Bd. is the No. you should be looking to match. Your original Bd does not seem to carry on the white sticker the EBT No.
If the price is reasonable I would give it a try since this is what is available.

un60j620dafxza - Samsung No Display Problem
              by stylishconsultant
              Hi All,

              Need help.

I have a samsung un60j620dafxza led tv. When I plug it in it has no display, no sounds, and no standby lights.

So I opened the tv and disconnected the power to the mainboard and the backlight powered up. This according to many people says that this is a mainboard
problem. I checked the voltage coming from the stb and I read 1.3 volts on pins 1,3,5 and 7 which are low volts instead of 13 volts which i think the lcd panel
might be drawing too much power from the power supply that it prevents the right voltage going to the mainboard....

Dell Latitude 7420 - Touchscreen not working since Mainboard replacement
              by Mirenia
              Hi everyone,

I've got a little "problem child": my Dell Latitude 7420 2-in-1, which had a faulty mainboard.
I replaced it, but ever since, the touchscreen no longer works — and honestly, I’m running out of ideas…

In Windows Device Manager, I just see an I2C HID Device with error code 10. Sporadically, the touchscreen is recognized correctly for just a few seconds, but I haven’t been able to determine under which circumstances this happens.

The touchscreen also doesn’t work in UEFI/BIOS, although it’s enabled...

MASTER TL240 and new mainboard LW36BKC01
              by orcic
              Hello,
I have an old MASTER TL-240 LED TV. Since it stopped working and it had a DVB-T receiver that is being dismissed in Italy, I've decided to replace the mainboard with a DVB-T2 one.
The original problem was that when switching on the TV, the power LED was transitioning from red to steady blue, without showing video or audio.
After checking some voltages on the power supply board (HKL-240101-B Rev. 1.4, HKL from now on) someone suggested me to replace the mainboard.
Now I have some doubts about how to connect the new mainboard to the old power supply.
              First of...

              Problem LG 49UB850V (Mainboard: EAX65684604 / EBT62954607)
              by Malva
              Hi everyone,
I'm trying to repair my LG 49UB850V TV (WebOS 1.0, UHD model from 2014).
              Mainboard model: EAX65684604
              PCB marking: EBT62954607
SPI chip: Winbond W25X20CLNIG Problem description:

Originally, the TV would turn on (backlight and LED OK if I force them on), but it shut down as soon as any input was received from the IR sensor or remote. The backlight and power board were working fine.

After testing and verifying the voltages (DRY ON, PWR ON, 12V/24V rails), I suspected a corrupted SPI firmware. What I tried so far:
