    Samsung PN60E530AFXZA Pink Banding Issue

Hello guys, I'm having some trouble with my Plasma and not sure exactly where to go next. I have checked the VS, VA, VSCAN, and VE voltages and as long as there is a darker picture on the screen all is well. As soon as a scene shows up where there is a lot of brightness it starts this pink flickering and I can sometimes change the channel and change it right back and the flickering will stop for a while or if the screen goes to a darker scene it will stop. When the flickering goes on the VS voltage jumps all around from 211, to 198, back to 208, down to 196, back and forth. Not stable at all. The problem has gotten worse over the last week and I just don't want to waste anymore money as I have already replaced the Y-Main and the Logic board due to two other separate issues. Any help would greatly be appreciated! Here's a video of exactly what my TV is doing. Thanks!

Oh and one other thing I have noticed is that I can adjust the cell light up and it gets way worse! To the point it shuts the screen off but there's still sound. Adjusting the cell light down does help with the flickering but it's still somewhat there during bright scenes. Thanks again!

You have power supply issue, not being able to produce stable VS voltage to Ysus.

I am seeing same thing but not to that level you got it. I got non working 60 inch samsung 3d tv with dead power supply. got power supply rebuild kit from ebay and fixed it. Noticced pinkish images, I raised VS voltage as high as it can go -about 213 and it stays there solid but still see little pinkish on white screen images. No flashing here. Some say its just screen defect with samsung plasma screens.

That's is what I was thinking as well, just wanted some verification so I didn't waste money on the wrong thing. Thanks for the reply!

Samsung Series 9 - BIOS issue
          by Kjell
After installing Linux, I can no longer enter the BIOS of my Samsung Series 9 (NP900X3C) laptop. When pressing [F2] during boot I simply get a black screen. Same thing when pressing [F10] and choosing "Setup" from the "App Menu" tab. Apparently this is a relatively common issue with Samsung laptops of that generation, but unfortunately i haven't been able to resolve the issue (yet).

Things i've tried so far; reinstalled Windows 10, checked for redundant boot entries, tried to factory reset using the emergency keyhole, attempted to clear the NVRAM by physically...

Samsung DM32D – Red LED blinks 5 times, won’t start (possible mainboard issue)
          by Nairolf
          Hello,

          I have a Samsung DM32D display.
When I try to power it on, the red LED blinks 5 times and nothing happens—the unit won’t start.

Here’s what I have tried so far:
          1. Disconnected the cable between the mainboard and the power supply → the backlight turns on.
          2. Disconnected the main T-CON ribbon cable → same issue as before, the LED still blinks 5 times.
          3. Disconnected one of the two T-CON ribbons to the panel (tested each one separately) → same issue, the LED blinks 5 times.

From these tests, I suspect the problem might be on the mainboard. Could anyone...

Samsung TV LA46B550K1R flickering issue, so near yet so far
          by Indie
          Hi,

I have a samsung tv (2009, works well) apart from an imminent flickering issue for some time.

          Model: LA46B550K1R
          Model code : LA46B550K1RLXL
          Ac:100-260 V 50-60Hz, 240W
          Power supply circuit: BN44-00265B

I read through the forums and found other Samsung models both 46, 55 inches , old and new with similar issues. Two things stood out:
          1. eco setting in tv was recommended to be switched off
          2. Jumper number JP852 was recommended to be cut off.

Now before opening the tv i tried playing around with the...

Samsung SyncMaster 740n Phase Control Issue
          by vincentedel
          Hello,
I'm having an issue with the Samsung 740n's phase control setting. When I use the automatic adjustment, it sets the value to around 54 (with a range of 0-100), and the picture looks clear and sharp. However, after some time—like after playing a game—the text starts to look blurry. When I auto-adjust again, it may increase the value to 80, and everything becomes sharp once more. Yet, after a while, whether it's a few hours or a day later, the same blurriness returns, and I have to adjust it again.

I'm using the Samsung 740n monitor drivers instead of the default plug-and-play...
