Hi guys hope i can get some help here
Led was blinking wasnt getting no backlight wn removed connector from smp now i replaced the smp and getting the same led blinking light in front of tv
Wn i remove cable from main board to tcon tv backlight comes on and soon i snap it back on the tv is normail all works perfect if i power off tv it doesn't come back on till i do thye same cyle again it seems that either the tcon has an issue or the new powerboard i replaced has a short and not sending enough voltage im puzzled help please

We need good clear high res. pictures to see what we are dealing with first.
What kind of Voltage testing have you done so far?

The pins from smp with 13v markings are reading12.8v all 4 2/4/6/8

How about the signal pins 2, 4, and 6?
A13V = Always ON 13V, not switched.

Ok those pins have4.4 pin2 2.3v pin4 3.2v pin6 and pin8 0
So i think thats where the prob is cause on the board says they should have 13v too
No caps look swollen but will start testing the main caps
Let me know what u think please

Where did you see it shows those command pins should be 13V? It better not be 13V since those command Voltage are running on 5V.
Pin 2 (OD/UD, some kind of error signal)= 4.4V not sure if normal is High (>2V, or normal should be LOW (<1V).
Pin 4 (BLUPWM) Dimming control = 2.3V which is fine
Pin 6 (PS-ON, for turning on the switched power supplies sections) = 3.2V which is fine.

BTW, we need pictures of the whole back side of the TV showing all the boards and how they are connected together.
There are more Voltages you need to check on other connectors beside the two pictures you have shown.

Here is an update very strange when i first start testing the tv the led was blinking replaced with the new board then i ahad that issue where i took off tcon connecter and put on then tv comes on.
Now i just replaced the caps on the old smp red light stays constant when i power on from remote after 6 blinks tv comes on
Very strange is there anything i need to test still that may be bad

"Wn i remove cable from main board to tcon tv backlight comes on" That is why we need the pictures! the Backlights circuit may be controlled by the T-con for the active zine dimming control. Right now we have no idea what we are dealing with since we do not know how all the boards are connected together.

Here is an update the red light stays constant wn i power on light take after 40 blinks to come on then wn i power off and put back on after about 5 to 7 blinks it comes on there has to be a leakage somewhere in voltage the qurstion is where mainboard /tcon or smp?

OK, the T-CON board does not control the backlights in this set.
You can do self test of the Power supply/LED driver board/backlights by disconnecting the cable between the power supply board and the main board, when you plug the power cord into the AC outlet the backlights should come on and stay on if the power supply board and the backlights are OK (hopefully it does not need the dim signal for the self test).

Ok did that backlight stay on np constantly.
then i reconnect the mainboar back to smp backlight goes off then i remove tcon connector to mainboard tv powers on and off with remote i can see backlight goes off and on in about 6 blinks of led light in front it works normal with start up time i think just no pic because of tcon disconnected .
So whats ur dignostic on this?

It sounds like something from the T-CON is stopping the main board or the LCD panEL. which is conneced to the T-CON from starting up properly.
Next thing to try will be disconnecting the cables between the LCD panel and the T-CON board then put the cable between the T-CON and the main board back in place to see if the TV will come up and able to control it (you will still not have picture due to no cables between T-CON and the panel).

Ok led panel connector off of tcon and tcon nonnector back into mainboarf and the same long sequence to startup so it definately something with the tcon right?
Has to be a leakage but the are more smd parts on it anything i can chk on tcon that can prob be the cause?

Have you checked that the Tcon is getting power at the fuse located on it and that the fuse is not open circuit?

1. Vin (Vcc): 12Vdc or 5Vdc
2. Vlogic,LCM, Vddd,VCC): 3.3Vdc
3. Vda (Vs, Vsource,VDD, Vdda,Avdd): 14Vdc~20Vdc
4. Vgh (Vgon,VGHR, Von, Vddg): 20Vdc~30Vdc
5. Vgl (Vgoff,VST,VGHF,VGHEVEN, Voff,Veeg): -5Vdc~-7Vdc
6. HVDD about 8v
7. DVDD,VDDC 3.3v, 1.2v
8. VCOM about 5~10vdc

Fuse is good tcon has led light that comes on wn i press power button tv actually comes on just that it take close to 1 minute at times and then sometimes10 to 15 seconds
