    Samsung LED UE22ES5000 bootloop

    Model: UE22ES5000
    PSU: BN44-00505B
    Mainboard: BN41-01798

Firm ver. 1028.( is not posible to update the firm via OTA, just USB, because the tv it doesn´t have an internet conection) Nobody had updated the firm, is the same from factory.

The sintomps are the next. Standby light works, but when i power on the tv, it just shows the samsung logo and then turn off and do the same thing again and again.

I replaced all the caps form the PSU(except the big one), the Output voltages seems to be OK. (Tested with a digital multimeter)(In the high voltage cap i get 299-305 volts). I tried to do an EEPROM reset conecting VCC+SDA and conected the tv to the electrical outlet for 5-6 seg. No change at all.

Sometimes i disconect the psu, to test the voltages and i manually diconect all the flex cables. Then when i put it back togheter the tv actually work for some times maybe 2-3 hours ( perfectly , without no issues), then the standby light and the tv goes completely off.

I dont know what to do next.
    Thank you people.

What do you get on main cap when you push power button?
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

When is on StandBy i get exactly 300 volt. I´ve tried to turn the tv on but i couldn´t . Just Stanby light flashing but not turn on (when stb light flash i still get 300 volt). Standby light just died after 15-20 minutes of trying to turn on the tv.

Note: When i first changed the caps, i´ve chaged the 10v 1000uf (2caps) for 25v 1000uf caps.(because i thought it was better) ¿Do you thing this could represent any problem for the psu.

When you try turning it on do you get any voltage at p_on pin?

I resoldered all this parts and now the tv seems to work perfectly. I suppouse it was a power related issue.

I would resolder a bunch of solder pads of transformer pins, any large devices mounted on the heatsink, Through hole power resistors, through hole rivets such as used on the transformer legs.

Thanks bud. I would do that.

After I resolded all the parts. I clean all with sanitary alcohol (I don't thing that was a good idea) The point is that I removed all the protective lacking that the psu had and now it has like a strange color.

Do you think is necessary to apply somo special pvb varnish to the psu?

Some strong alcohol. First I heard of removing coating. I wouldn't worry about it. Shouldn't cause problems.

You are right that resoldering is often valuable, especially if you've reached a dead-end in your troubleshooting. But with the given symptoms I think that Wolfmann was very near to confirming his problem. I always hate to move into the shotgun phase before it is really necessary.
                  Is it plugged in?

Resoldering the joints is part of the repair works to prevent future joints failure, I do it related to the problem or not, I can see ring developing around RX802 where through hole rivets are used.

Zombie Samsung UN55NU6900F dead / no standby voltage - randomly came to life after hours of troubleshooting then died
                        by tvguy12012012120
This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.

Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today....

                        Hello everyone,
I got a Samsung The Frame 55 inch TV for free from uncle cause it is not turning on anymore. I am in the second year of training as an electrician so I have knowledge already but I am far away from to be a pro.
The TV has Standby but ist not turning on. A Friend of mine owns a 50 inch Frame TV so I checked the One Connect Box and the One Connect Cable there. Both are good and working normally. I have opened the TV case and measured some voltages on the Board.
What I already found is that the 12.8V are not an the connector to the main board connector to the power...

I got the tv in spring 2024. At that time it started, then ran 60 sec and poweroff. Seemed like reboot issue. I didn't have time and room to check it in summer so I plugged it in and now the standby light is on. I press button on remote, standby light goes off and tries to start?. No picture or backlight on LCD. I thought about removing diodes like in this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...sung-qled-q60r...
