Hello, I would like to report an issue I have with a Samsung UE32F5000.
When I received the TV it had no picture. Shining a flashlight on the panel I saw a message on the screen indicating TV was alive but it had no backlight. The power supply was measuring OK so I disassembled the TV and found out two leds were burned on a led strip.
Since the particular led strip was in bad shape (it had a nasty burn mark near the power connector) I ordered a new strip from ebay and installed it. Now, on this particular set, if you disconnect the motherboard power cable and give power to the set all the leds will light and they did! Confident my problem was solved I reinstalled the panel and decided to give it a final test before putting it all together.
Well, now my leds light up, the motherboard boots fine (5 flashes then off), it obeys the remote as expected but I have no picture whatsoever!!! I tested my tcon fuse and I measured 12.8v at either side, I reinstalled all cables that connect the various boards as well as the ones that connect the panel to the tcon but the problem remains...
At this point I have no idea what is happening, I inspected the panel itself and its various cables and I see nothing weird. Any advice would be greatly appreciated...
