Samsung PN43F4500BF won't turn on, no std-by light

Our Samsung PN43F4500BF plasma TV has died and I'm trying to figure out if it's worth saving.

It has power to it, 121v/ac; the fuse tests good, .3ohms; I tested the voltages on the two connectors coming off the psu and this is what I got:

    Stby=5.33, ps_on=4.48(connected) 5.33 (disconnected), 3-B15v=0, 2-B5v=0.

    2-vs=0, nc=0, va=0, B15v=0, B5v=0, 2-vs_on=0, ps_on=4.48 (connected) 5.33 (disconnected).

** I tested the voltages with the connectors connected and disconnected. Unless there was a change(noted) voltages stayed the same.

All the capacitors look good, flat and dry, so no physical sign of being bad.

Suggestions as to what to do next?

    Disconnect mainboard.

    Jump power supply on

    Ps-on to Gnd
    Vs on to stby.

Jumper pins 3&4 on control board.

If set runs test patterns you have a bad mainboard.

      Hamie,
      Thank you for your reply;
Just so that I'm clear (first time working with plasma tv), referencing my pic.

I labeled what I think are the correct boards.

I'm going to disconnect the main board at connector/cable #1.
I'm going to jump ps_0n to gnd at #1
      I'm going to jump vs_on @ #2 to stby @ #1

Jumper pins 3&4 @ #3 on Control board.

Do I need to disconnect the ribbon cable from Main board (#4) to control board?

        update to testing:

I corrected my jumpers (from what I "thought") for the Control Board 3 to 4 (see pic).

My TV went through it's self tests, so as Hamie stated I must have a bad Main Board (it's been isolated from the rest of the system)

and yes I disconnected the ribbon cable #4 in my previous pic.

        Thank You very much Hamie!

I replaced the 'mainboard' and we're back up and working!

Another big Thank You to Hamie!

un60j620dafxza - Samsung No Display Problem
              by stylishconsultant
              Hi All,

              Need help.

I have a samsung un60j620dafxza led tv. When I plug it in it has no display, no sounds, and no standby lights.

So I opened the tv and disconnected the power to the mainboard and the backlight powered up. This according to many people says that this is a mainboard
problem. I checked the voltage coming from the stb and I read 1.3 volts on pins 1,3,5 and 7 which are low volts instead of 13 volts which i think the lcd panel
might be drawing too much power from the power supply that it prevents the right voltage going to the mainboard....

Samsung QLED QE65Q7FNAT only standby light
              by Kaar3l
              TV: Samsung QLED QE65Q7FNAT
              PSU: BN4400940A
              MB: BN94-12832K

I got the tv in spring 2024. At that time it started, then ran 60 sec and poweroff. Seemed like reboot issue. I didn't have time and room to check it in summer so I plugged it in and now the standby light is on. I press button on remote, standby light goes off and tries to start?. No picture or backlight on LCD. I thought about removing diodes like in this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...sung-qled-q60r...

LED TV Samsung The Frame 55 inch QE55LS03RAU Standby Light only
              by ChristianBr01
              Hello everyone,
I got a Samsung The Frame 55 inch TV for free from uncle cause it is not turning on anymore. I am in the second year of training as an electrician so I have knowledge already but I am far away from to be a pro.
The TV has Standby but ist not turning on. A Friend of mine owns a 50 inch Frame TV so I checked the One Connect Box and the One Connect Cable there. Both are good and working normally. I have opened the TV case and measured some voltages on the Board.
What I already found is that the 12.8V are not an the connector to the main board connector to the power...
