    Samsung BN42B400P3D PLASMA stanby only

Samsung BN42B400P3D PLASMA standby light only.
Little red light front of panel is on but the tv won't turn on. either with remote or pushing front button.

What I've done so far, I replaced the PS board with a known good replacement and NO change. All caps on old board looked good. Ive seen cases where a bad Y-sus can prevent these from turning on. However, in each of those cases unplugging the Y-sus board from the PS will usually result in a change and will allow you to turn on just no picture.

What also baffles me is there is NO usual "relay" click when plugging into the wall outlet. Is it feasible that a bad digital main which the front ON button ties into is preventing her from firing? And I don't imagine the noise filter block to which the plug goes into would be bad?? I guess you cant rule anything out, but ive never seen that?? could be first time for everything I suppose

Hopefully someones played with this model before?

Re: Samsung BN42B400P3D PLASMA stanby only

      thanks for response!!

Top row (even numbers 22,20,18,16 etc....) does nothing as that portion of the harness is empty

      Bottom row (odd numbers)
Pin 1 reading 3 volts DC
pin 3 reading 5 volts DC

Every other pin seems to be reading nothing??

      Penny for your thoughts........

"Pin 1 reading 3 volts DC" pin 1 is PS-ON, 0V (Grounded) = ON = power relays are on.
            Pin 2 = Vs on = >2.5Vdc = on, <1Vdc = off
            Board is BN44-00273C for sure?

Yup Budm that's the one!! Got 2 of them now. Both identical, one was the stock PS board the other was actually ordered from shopjimmy. Ordered dozens of times from them never an issue. Standby only, me thinkin PS board not the issue?? Ceramic fuses check out just fine
