LG47LB5900 ( Help Please )

I have a 47" LG that I noticed a few weeks ago the bottom left of the screen was starting to slightly dim and brighten. Now when you turn it on it flashes like a strobe light. It does it no matter the input of TV, HDMI, etc. Is this worth fixing ? I am a amateur but would like to do it myself if possible. Any advice appreciated.

Advise do some research on google plus the forum. Read what you should add to a thread. Run the test patterns. Test voltages. Help us help you.

I did google but no clear answers. I am looking for general knowledge from what I am describing before I open the TV up.

Ok sounds to me like an Led in the screen is beginning to fail not easy to get to as you have to tear the whole screen apart. Check for my Led repair videos.
