SAMSUNG UE55ES7000QXZT - Vertical lines problem

    Hi all,

my tv (SAMSUNG UE55ES7000QXZT) has a problem very similar to the issue described in this picture:
    https://goo.gl/5etACb

The first vertical line popped up 7-8 months later on the left side of the panel, and after few month they have expanded in the entire left healf of the panel.

The strange thing is that if the tv is off for an entire week (for expample during my vacation) the vertical lines disappear, and appear again gradually after 2-3 day of daily usage (8 hours/day).

I tried to change the source, ma the line appears also with the test picture.
I tried to open the panel and to push the connectors, but with any luck.

    The warranty is expired

In your experience, what could be the problem ? Panel, t-con board, main board ?

    Thanx in advance

Sorry to say, looks like panel or tabs, you could try shimming the tabs, but be aware--this is generally only a temporary fix...

When I get any like this, I scrap 'em, I cant take the risk selling a set with dodgy tabs, It'll only come back and bite you in the ass!

      Thx for the answer.
Than do you suggest to replace the TV with another new one?
Can you suggest me a good 55'' lcd with good picture quality, under 1000 € ?
I'm considering a Panasonic Smart TV LED Full HD 55" TX-55DS500E for 700€. Is it a good choice ?

Hmm--ALL new TV's are utter Garbage TBH!

'Panasonic' Sorry to say--It Aint! Its a Turkish VESTEL turd in disguise--Just like practically all TV sets these days, no matter what make.

Only Samsung, LG and maybe one or two others are NOT made by that turd-maker....

As Alastair says , most new tv's are all "crap".

They are all build to last 2/3 years.

If you want a GOOD tv under 1000 then buy a Panasonic plasma tv from 2012/2013. Why? You wont find a LED tv that can display the same picture.
I only repair Panasonic plasma tv's! Currently owning a TX-P55VT50 and still searching for a ZT60!

              Samsung UN46C8000XFXZA vertical bars/horizontal lines
              by x_orange90_x
I posted about this previously but didn't get any response, and I have some troubleshooted a bit so I have more info.

The screen is full of horizontal "gaps" or lines that distort the picture badly, and after about 10 seconds of powering it on the screen starts to fill with red vertical bars that take on the horizontal pattern. After the screen filled with the red bars, they instantly vanished and then slowly started to reappear. I initially thought it was tab bonding failure, but after getting down to them and pressing each one I find zero change in the picture. I went...

Thin stable coloured vertical lines on Samsung UN65NU6900FXZC come and go
              by polaro
              Greetings,

I've bought a used Samsung UN65NU6900FXZC LED TV. It worked fine for some time and then developed, at first, a single very thin (1 pixel) vertical stable blue line, from top to bottom, close to the left edge of the screen. Now it's 3 lines on the left. When I connect HDMI sources the number of the thin lines grow. After disconnecting and cold discharging I am back to 2 lines. The lines disappear at a rate of 15-20 minutes per line. So it does not look like a damaged LED panel. Any advice? Thanks...

Samsung 55" UN55JS9000 - Pink vertical lines due to chipped LCD panel?
              by Anonmis
Hello all, I was recently repairing my Samsung 55" UN55JS9000 tv from the common burnt backlight LED's and cracked light guide panel issue. After replacing the LED's and putting the TV back together, I tested the tv and all I was getting was sound but no image. Somewhere along the way (could be related to the next issue) the T-Con board became damaged and after replacing it I have made a little bit of progress but now have bright pink vertical lines and still no image.

The bigger issue .... I took the TV apart again and realized that I likely didn't sit the LCD panel correctly...

Samsung LA46A950 aka. LN46A950 - intermittent vertical green lines / distortions
              by 265chemic
              Hi All,

I have a Samsung LA46A950 that intermittently was displaying issues with evenly spaced vertical green lines only on dark / black areas - this has progressed to more often and blue lines sometimes, as well as a little image distortion.

My initial suspicion was the T-CON board, which I took out and cleaned but the issue persists. A heat gun on all of the control boards makes no noticeable change. Ive also reseated the T-CON to panel ribbons (4 of them) and moving them while the panel is on doesn't seem to change the issue.

              Below are some photos...
