    Samsung UN32EH5000 no picture

    This one is driving me a bit crazy. I picked this up with a reported backlight problem. That was due to 2 issues: 1 some blown LEDs which I replaced on the bar and 2) the backlight voltage was too low on the PS board. I replaced the power supply and backlights now are fully functional, BUT No PICTURE!! Sound works fine so I assume the main board is at least partially working.

    I have also tried swapping the T_CON with no results. If I tap slightly on the screen front I can get splotches of white light but no menu or other picture is visible.

    What's next OR is this panel TOAST ??? Thanks for any help!

      Another additional item: When first powered on the red status LED blinks 6 times and then goes dark except when receiving data form the remote. Not sure what the 6 blinks signifys. I did not find any reference to this yet.

          Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
          - sound and backlight, but no picture
          - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
          - it keeps rebooting
          - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
          - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
          - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

          This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.

          Problem
          TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode...

          Hello all,

          This is my first post, but long term lurker on the form learning as much as possible about these TV's. I was given this TV as due to a power outage of constant On/off of power to TV. The TV originally would just click on and off (Typical Reboot Cycle). I opened the back of the TV, and troubleshooted by taking the 96 pin LVDS off one at a time to see if I had a picture on either side. I finally fixed the reboot cycle by finding the error on the left side of the screen off connector CN 1301, and the TV would stay on. Further troubleshooting led me to the driver boards where...

          Hi friends,

          a friend of mine gave me this TV to fix, with common SAMSUNG TV issue - damaged panel. Turning on, sound is present, but no picture. So I went directly to standard process, connecting two pads together with a wire ( see in the picture ), and then removing flex cables. With right flex connected, there was half screen working, but still no picture ( disappearing colors and similar weird stuff ) + working sound.
