Test with black lead on Base and the red on Emitter take reading, then red lead on Collector take reading
Repeat with red lead on Base and black on Emitter take reading, then black on Collector take reading
Finally check across Emitter & Collector with meter leads then reverse meter leads.

If the readings compare to another board then the transistor is fine. How about the fuses?

I tried testing the little road of circuits next to that chip also in diode mode and they all seem to be equal with the other boards I don't understand

What is the number on top of the 4 chips in the row?

As far as the fuses I put the ground lead on the pin connector that is in front of them and tested the output side and they all the same

You can check the fuses with the meter set to ohms and probes placed on either side of the fuse which should then read 0 ohms

I just double checked and yes the fuses to read zero

The numbers on the IC's in the attached photo and is that glue stuck at the side of the connector?

OK if I test it like that on those two legs I'm not getting any reading out of the meter if I test the other two boards I have a reading on those same legs

Ok i'm losing my mind with the meter set on this setting it shows a reading and so do the other boards with the meter set on the 2 to 20 M ohms it shows no reading and the other boards do

So two boards are at 1000k +- and that other board is at 17++ if the meter on this different setting

And that is still the chip that has the brown mark under it just so you know

I have to run out for a little while if you could please check back in later on and walk me through it it would be much appreciated. I think we're making some headway but it doesn't make any sense how that one Chip has a different reading on that one leg compared to all the others and I am reading it right now on ohms
