    Samsung ln40d630m3f

This samsung unit will flash on then the screen blacks out. No sound or any other signs of life. Upon inspection of the p/s board an issue with a transformer was found. New board was purchased and installed. Issue persists.
    Any ideas would be great.

Which transformer did you find an issue with and what kind of issue is it?
What DCV do you have at the LED connector with ref to the chassis GND?
What is the power supply/LED driver board P/N BN44-?????A/B/C/D.

L601 its the transformer that is right under j23 on the primary side. It was broken and the wires coming out of the coil were ripped out. Not finding a bn number anywhere. The pcb number is eax64905501....

I just realized i had the wrong model of tv. I have 3 different ones in front of me. Im so sorry is there a way to change subject at this point. Correct model is LG 47LN400.

Samsung Series 9 - BIOS issue
          by Kjell
After installing Linux, I can no longer enter the BIOS of my Samsung Series 9 (NP900X3C) laptop. When pressing [F2] during boot I simply get a black screen. Same thing when pressing [F10] and choosing "Setup" from the "App Menu" tab. Apparently this is a relatively common issue with Samsung laptops of that generation, but unfortunately i haven't been able to resolve the issue (yet).

Things i've tried so far; reinstalled Windows 10, checked for redundant boot entries, tried to factory reset using the emergency keyhole, attempted to clear the NVRAM by physically...

Samsung DM32D – Red LED blinks 5 times, won’t start (possible mainboard issue)
          by Nairolf
          Hello,

          I have a Samsung DM32D display.
When I try to power it on, the red LED blinks 5 times and nothing happens—the unit won’t start.

Here’s what I have tried so far:
          1. Disconnected the cable between the mainboard and the power supply → the backlight turns on.
          2. Disconnected the main T-CON ribbon cable → same issue as before, the LED still blinks 5 times.
          3. Disconnected one of the two T-CON ribbons to the panel (tested each one separately) → same issue, the LED blinks 5 times.

From these tests, I suspect the problem might be on the mainboard. Could anyone...

          Replacement transformer for Samsung fridge
          by unimatrix93
          Dear forum

My Samsung fridge died from a fault on the mainline and the transformer (https://www.hqelektronika.hu/hu/halo...-w8-da2600009k) died.
No voltage on the secondary, measuring resistance shows open circuit. I concluded a blown fuse which is deep inside the transformer, I don't think I can disassemble it to replace the fuse.

The second problem is that I cannot find an original replacement part anywhere or even If I do it's pretty expensive.

My question is: Can I replace this transformer with a generic 230V to 17V one? The output has 4...

Samsung SyncMaster 740n Phase Control Issue
          by vincentedel
          Hello,
I'm having an issue with the Samsung 740n's phase control setting. When I use the automatic adjustment, it sets the value to around 54 (with a range of 0-100), and the picture looks clear and sharp. However, after some time—like after playing a game—the text starts to look blurry. When I auto-adjust again, it may increase the value to 80, and everything becomes sharp once more. Yet, after a while, whether it's a few hours or a day later, the same blurriness returns, and I have to adjust it again.

I'm using the Samsung 740n monitor drivers instead of the default plug-and-play...
