Peel or cut the plastic? Do I need to program the remote first? Cause I bought it from eBay

Peel it back. Get a finger nail or knife under the corner and peel it back. You do not want to cut a hole because you do not want anyone pressing the button by mistake.

I hope this works.. I paid $40 for this remote but I'll try it. Do I have to program the remote since it's from eBay?

No programming of the remote needed, just follow the directions at the beginning of this thread. If it does not work you may have got the wrong remote.

Is that all I need to do is just press the button or is there something I'm missing

I am so glad it worked for you And it was soo easy. The way you feel is the way I felt when I fixed the first one.

                      Intermittent color test pattern issue.
                      by Jeryswan
I've got a LN-T4065F which came into my shop with the customer complaining that the test patterns would randomly come up on the screen. Upon testing, the pattern came up on the screen after about 20 minutes of use. We opened it up and did a visual inspection to see if there was any dust or bugs shorting out anything on the board that would generate the test patterns. I'm a bit new to TV repair but on a plasma tv that we recently worked on we strapped out the auto ext on the control board and it generated test patterns on the screen. My thoughts was that maybe something was shorting out that circuit.......

                      93C46 and 93C56 EEPROM
                      by SidneyCanadas
I tore apart my instrument cluster for my 2008 Toyota Corolla made in 2007 in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada and pcb location: IC6=EEPROM is a surface mounted device with part # of 93C46W7, some claim the EEPROM out of a Camry part # 93C56 will allow odometer to roll over 299 999 KM or miles. The data sheet for both is below:

                      https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/...c6e42b20d3.pdf 2

Anyone know if the Camry one will work on my Corolla?. And which EEPROM reader/writers do you all recommend I purchase that will allow me to read the old values of the old...

                      Hello all,
I got this beauty of a 65" Android Smart TV from a roommate whose boss through it out because it didn't work. I've fixed a few TVs before, but was being stupid on this one:

                      Original issue:
TV powered down after a minute or so, but picture was fine.
Tried replacing main board, which didn't work. I should have just replaced the AC Power board.

Months later, I replaced the power board, so I can see the screen. I lost / threw out my original main board, and there is now what I believe to be a defective main board in the TV. My symptoms...

SHARP LC-32CHF5111K - stuck at color test mode
                      by YellowJacket
                      Hi friends,

TV has stuck at - as I googled the term - color test mode. Slowly flashing colors white, red, green, blue, black, over and over again. I tried some hints from internet, like pressing some remote buttons, but nothing worked. I also tried factory reset for Sharp TVs => "while holding vol– & input buttons on tv plug in set when “k” appears push vol– & chan- " , but TV doesn't even start during buttons pressed.
So I decided to flash new firmware to SPI ROM. What do you say, would it help? If so, where can I find some dump? I was unable to find...
