SHARP LC-32CHF5111K - stuck at color test mode

    Hi friends,

TV has stuck at - as I googled the term - color test mode. Slowly flashing colors white, red, green, blue, black, over and over again. I tried some hints from internet, like pressing some remote buttons, but nothing worked. I also tried factory reset for Sharp TVs => "while holding vol– & input buttons on tv plug in set when “k” appears push vol– & chan- " , but TV doesn't even start during buttons pressed.
So I decided to flash new firmware to SPI ROM. What do you say, would it help? If so, where can I find some dump? I was unable to find any. Thank you in advance, if you need more information, let me know.

The problem is mostly in tcon i think, try this for now, detach one of the tcon output flats when tv on, then turn off, re attach then on.. in extreme cases change tcon.

Davi.p - excelent clue. Yeah, TV works now. There were some damaged pins on ribbon cable between main board and T-Con. By damaged I mean like scuffed or what. I cleaned with IPA for now, if it comes back, I will order a new cable.
      Big thanks to you, Davi.p.

So 2 years ago a surge hit this monitor:/ which years before i got it going again replacing the 2 16v caps on the main board C80 and C83.

After the surge all i had was a black screen with a blue led than it goes orange after secs.

So i took it apart to check it which i didint find no issues.. But my dam luck a screw driver drop on the psu and big spark happen and it blew the small 250v box fuse.

So it sat for a year till i ordered new fuses on amazon 2 days ago and got them in yesterday.

So i took it apart replaced the fuse...

Vizio E241i-a1 - works, but OSD stuck and no buttons work
            by bobbyskillz
Hello, experts! I have a weird issue I've never seen before. I know some of you have definitely seen this. I think some have seen in. I'd greatly appreciate any advice you can give me.

I bought a E241i-a1 to use as a monitor. It powers on, displays the image, and has sound. I just can't get the OSD to go away. The TV doesn't respond to any input from the remote contol or buttons except for the power button. Is this a firmware issue? I can't access settings to reset it. A quick search for the firmware has no results. I'm lost. Please throw some ideas at me.

            Thanks for...
