Panasonic Plasma SC Board TNPA5330 - accidentally ripped solder-pads away

    Hi,

I have to use one of those Rep Kits including D401, D421, IC502, Q531, Q421-423, Q401-403 because all of them were shorted.

But I accidentally ripped away two solder-pads of IC502 while unsoldering.

It is Pin 5 and 6 of IC "BD8693FVM" as you can see on the picture.
    (hope quality is good enough)

I need someone to follow the trace with a multimeter on an good board so I can bridge directly from one of the IC arms to the first component in the trace.

Would be wonderful if someone could use my picture and do some magic in paint to show the trace of Pin 5 and Pin 6.

    Hmm....

Be aware--These are Multi-Layer boards, Three, Four or Five layers is not unusual--the traces could appear Anywhere on the board--Even under another chip or component, before connecting to its pins.

Be easier to follow the schematic--IF you can find it. Look up the set in Toms-service-manuals....

Good luck--I think you're gonna need it!

Generally the ones that disappear first are the ones with no connection. I don't have access to my files but if you grab a service manual for any model with this board and check the schematic you can work it out for yourself.

I had a quick look at a 55vt30 and 5,6 has no connection in that

        @Alastair E

Yes you are absolutely right. Maybe this is the reason why I felt something warm in my pants right after it happened

        @tw2005

You are the men. Ping 5 and 6 are really not connected and therefore came off first. How many dark experiences you must have made to know this...

And because of you I realized that there are schematics for the SC Board in the service manuals, I just overlooked them the first time

        Here the evidence:

This is a very great place for people like us

        Thanks

If you don't have hot air, try flooding the pins both sides with solder and use 2 soldering irons to lift it off at the same time.

Those standalone pads lift real easy if too much heat too long.

Next time will be better I'm sure.

A2251 Accidentally Ripped Ribbon for Fingerprint Reader/Power button
            by abajor
Just wondering if I'm totally Fragged. I was trying to release the adhesive holding the t151 flex connector for J4900 and it ripped like paper. As far as I understand it the finger print reader is matched to the board? Is there any way to work around this?
This machine has a shorted U9080 (ELC180) which needs to be replaced.

            Thanks-

OOPS! HISENSE 50R6E accidentally ripped off a panel edge tab.
            by triplefour
Hey guys...Ruined my day today at a clients house. Had repaired his back light and was in the process of putting it back together when I slipped up and tore off one of the edge tabs. One on the left side about 3/4 the way down. TV worked and showed picture but about 3/4 the way down the screen there is a horizontal bar where the picture is very noticeably brighter. I remember hearing something about being able to rip these tabs off to fix certain panel issues. What are my options here? Thanks!

            Hello,
I am having Samsung PS51E550 Plasma TV. While the TV was working, a crackling sound heard & video went off with audio still ON. After switching it off & ON, the red LED on TV blinks six times & then off.
Opened TV cover & observed foll
            a) Green LED on the small PCB blinks at @5-6sec ON & off for 3-4 secs. Red LED on logic board ON
b)Vs & Va on power supply board raises momentarily to 209v & 58v resp & then drops.
            c) Cold test on Y-main board shows all 3 pins of FGPF4536 IGBT short to Grnd.
How to confirm Y -Buffer board...

            Panasonic plasma TX-P42ST50 - 6 blinks
            by jm1234
            Hi,
anyone able to provide the service manual for old plasma Panasonic TX-P42ST50E?
It turns off almost immediately (0~5 seconds after pressing the on/off button) and starts flashing the red diode 6 times.
I disconnected the left-hand side board (SC?, both the ribbon cable and the power cable to it) and also another ribbon going to bottom left board. Then the led signal is 8 flashes. According to service guide to another Panasonic plasma it would mean the left-hand side board is faulty. But I'm not sure it 100% applies to my model.
I checked that board for any obvious faults...

Hitachi 55HDS69 55" Plasma TV - No Picture But Sound
            by KYBOSH
Picked up a bahemoth plasma TV not too long ago and just now getting around to looking at it.
No picture but you hear the TV static (white noise) playing loud and clear.
The back was already taken off (and no screws were provided) as the previous owner had already taken a look.
But it seems they didn't get too far and just left it.

When I first took a look I was amazed at how pristine the inside looked.
Its as if the TV had been in a time capsule.
Caps looked like they were just pulled off the self.
Copper coils had no sign of corrosion on...
