The problem: What I am experiencing is my screen goes completely black (no lines or faint images), while the audio remains on. This is occurring at least once every couple of days, sometimes two or three times in a day. I have had the TV since new in 2006, with this problem starting several months ago.
Temporary Actions Attempted:I can switch channels and the screen will come back on about 30% of the time. If this fails, I must power down and up again for the screen to come back on again, which always works.
Help Requested:Is anyone familiar with this problem and if so is the solution to it within the scope of a novice?
