Samsung UE46D6100 Tcon fault?

Hi all,

I have a Samsung UE46D6100 that displays a distorted image when first powered on that quickly fades away to a black screen.

Sound remains on and led backlight is lit.

I will attach an image of the tcon board below.

When removing one of the ribbon cables to the tcon card the image will come on fine on one half of the screen and stay on.

But as soon as the other ribbon is connected the image will fade away and stay off.

Any advice would be much appreciated as always.

This only happens if the white ribbon on the left hand side is removed.

i also have the same issue i replaced a T-con board with a new one. but the problem is still same. does anyone have any idea to solve this issue ?

Panel fault - not repairable.

You might get lucky and find a problem on the address board rather than a failed COF driver.

You need to take the tv apart a bit further and expose the boards.
