Vizio M470SV

Ok guys and gals. I have this TV, Vizio M470SV. It was working fine and then all of a sudden started becoming VERY slow to commands and then even shutting off at times. I have reset and factory reset (cleared memory) and still same issues. I was thinking it maybe the eeprom or firmware but not sure. The TV is now pretty much unusable at this time. Any ideas or suggestions?

Since Vizio states these TVs update only over the internet, is there a way to replace the eeprom and jtag the board to write the firmware or flash it using the USB port?
