Sharp LC-32SH12U intermittent vertical lines, freezing, inversion

Display fails intermittently: the picture freezes and fades into vertical red lines of varying width, mostly on the left half of screen, or red + blocky white stripes. The picture freezes as it fades out, and sometimes image elements are added inverted and superimposed upside down. Then the screen often goes blank entirely (audio still working)

Changing channels or inputs has no effect. Cycling power often restores function indefinitely. Jostling didn't appear to affect the fault, which can happen both on cold power-on and during extended operation. I know the T-con board has been replaced recently.

Any ideas? This is my parents' TV & I don't live close by, so diagnostic opportunities are limited.

SHARP LC-70UD27U black and white lines
    by zoontz
Wondering if anyone has addressed an issue with the SHARP 70” LC-70UD27U having thin black and white lines running from left to right horizontally on the screen. I snagged this TV set from a neighbor since I have been successful in repairing numerous other TVs. I assume this probably happens to other TV sets and may have been addressed in another thread. If so please point me in the right direction.

What I have tried so far.
I have tested all HDMI inputs with the same results.
I have checked for firmware updates.
I have reset to factory settings.
    I have removed...

TCL 55S425 few horizontal lines, potential failure on both side of panel/buffer board
    by howardc64
All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
    • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
    • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

ASUS ROG SCAR 16 (G634J) - intermittent freezing
    by DarkAngelz195
Hi guys, this is my first post on here so please be gentle.

I have this ASUS ROG SCAR 16 - G634J laptop that keeps on freezing intermittently, showing a red blinking battery light, resulting in a frozen screen, unresponsive keyboard, only a hard reset will bring it back on. I will say that due to the frequency of it happening now it is really hard to try to load up any monitoring software etc.
Now here is the thing, I have seen at least 5-6 posts around on reddit and ASUS's official forums with individuals all having this exact issue. My bet is that its something to do with...

    Sharp 50bj2ke horizontal lines
    by jaco2d
This is only my seond post and so far i am very impressed with the forums.
I have a Sharp 50bj2ke which is 6 month out of gaurantee and has devoloped horizontal lines, i have tried to research as much as possible but i am no further is diagnosing the issue. When i turn the tv on it works good with only a thin line right at the top of the screen which i could live with but after a couple hours of use the lines start to appear in the middle of the screen and now the bottom.
The small white box thing in the pics is not the tv its a reflection from the window

    Any suggestions...

Samsung LA46A950 aka. LN46A950 - intermittent vertical green lines / distortions
    by 265chemic
    Hi All,

I have a Samsung LA46A950 that intermittently was displaying issues with evenly spaced vertical green lines only on dark / black areas - this has progressed to more often and blue lines sometimes, as well as a little image distortion.

My initial suspicion was the T-CON board, which I took out and cleaned but the issue persists. A heat gun on all of the control boards makes no noticeable change. Ive also reseated the T-CON to panel ribbons (4 of them) and moving them while the panel is on doesn't seem to change the issue.
