I've got the blinking red LED as well. I've replaced the usual caps on the P/S and that didn't change anything. They didn't look bad but I thought it was a go to. Then I found this thread and started playing with the main board.

I've replaced C102 on the back and C131 on the front with 47uF Tantalum caps but not surface mount. See pics!

    Anyhow that didn't fix it.

I also re-soldered the legs of IC101 and that didn't fix it either.

    Any thoughts?

Got it going (no power cycling) now I have to fix the bad picture. I think I saw another thread here somewhere on that. Looking now.

    R107 is 18C = 15K Ohms (http://www.talkingelectronics.com/pr...-Markings.html)

R104:39K (R1 formula), R107:15K (R2 formula) are the Vout Voltage setting resistor network, in this case, it is set to 3.3V Output for the IC101 MP2363.

    Hi,

I attempted this fix, got the cap replaced but in the process I lost R107, my eyes are not what they used to be and soldering with a magnifying glass is tough LOL. Can someone tell me the value of R107 so I can replace it?

    TIA, jet

What is the difference between a black and beige capacitor? Looking on ebay currently. Unless you have a better suggestion. Thanks

The 'C102' silkscreen printing is partially under the IC IC101. it is on the right of R107.

Notes: Silver bar on this TANTALUM cap indicates POSITIVE leg of the cap.

    http://www.shopjimmy.com/samsung-bn9...repair-kit.htm

Replacing just C102 (Tantalum 47uF 10VDC) will usually solve the problem.
    From SJ PAGE:
The Samsung BN94-02077D Main Board Component Repair Kit includes all necessary components to repair common failures on the Main Board. Symptoms include no audio on any input, repeatedly turns on and off, red power LED blinks forever.

    Hello,

We have this set here in our shop that is not ginving sign of life besides red light that is blinking one time after pressing the button and nothing more... After detaching the mainboard from the PSU (this set has separate board thank god?! or not...) the backlight comes on. After reattaching nothing besides red light.... Can anyone from the forum help me here? Thank you in advance. Here's a link with images of the mainboard and the memory IC's that are on it.

Samsung UE46D6100 LED TV blinking red light indicator
    by 3DDD
Hello, I have a Samsung UE46D6100. It cannot be turned on, only the red status LED flashes, the power supply part bn44-00458a gives an output of 5V(A), it is probably functional. I don't know where to look for the error, according to the video it should be a faulty mosfet. I found a mosfet marked WAAH, I don't know what it is. Can anyone help me?...
