Hello,
I have read all of the posts regarding this issue and have not found anything to work, however, I currently have this thing working....sort of. I had it working perfect, no flicker, no shut down, for a few hours with the back off. I put the back on again and the backlight flickered and shut off. I laid it down, pulled the back off and still the same issue. I tilted it up and took the screws out of the LED driver. This is what I have figured out....as long as the LED driver is hanging at an angle, the tv will stay on forever. The moment I start to tilt the LED driver, it flickers and shuts off. I have taped it down and fiddled with every wire connected to the driver and it is not an individual wire, it is just the LED driver itself somehow. I can buy a new driver and try that, but was told the new driver never fixes these tvs. Before I spend the money, I am wondering why would it make a difference if the LED driver is hanging at an angle?
