by mrdevilHi all,
Wanted to share this as I couldn't find anything on the internet about this problem, so pulled one apart and found the problem myself. Years ago I bought approx 20 or so Crest Smart Home Single Power Adapter smart switches - small 240v Tuya-compatible (rebranded) smart switch devices with power monitoring, which Big W had on sale for half price. Paid $7.50 each for these, and they've been incredibly useful for turning things on and off remotely... and monitoring how much power each device uses.
However, after about 12 months, I had a number of these stop working... -
by bamdad61Dear folks, recently got a canon dr-1210c and it worked perfectly just for one day. Right now it shows all possible errors on the screen and do nothing. I tear down the device and found a 32 pin plcc flash chip. I thought reprogramming firmware might be helpful. The firmware update file from canon support include a dll file which doesn't help. So if anyone has the dump it would such a great favor to share.04-15-2025, 02:43 PM

by vf faHi, so i guess I´ll have to make a new topic here, as i browsed through hundreds of other threads but couldn't find a solution to my problem yet.
I got a EIZO CX270 from a friend. He said it doesn't work anymore and wont display any signal or take any OSD inputs. Well, as an aspiring photographer I couldn't say no, could I? Thought it was an easy game, replace a bad cap and have a working monitor. But nooope, it wasn't supposed to be this easy.
So let me start with the problem description. I'll try my best not to skip anything so this might get rather long.

This found its way to my workbench this week.
Wired Wall Light Cam S100
The buyer thought he got a great deal but it turns out it was likely dead and the seller tried to get anything they could for it by passing it off on an unsuspecting buyer.
Rather than tossing it in the bin he gave it to me to play with as he knows how much I love to try to solve problems like these.
The camera portion of this device worked fine when powered via USB but when on the mains it would not work at all.
This reminded me of the eufy floodlight... - Loading...
