I hope I'm in the right place to make my request. Now that I've made my presentation, I'd like to make a request regarding a 2017 HP Spectre PRO 13 G1 laptop. I have a lost BIOS password. I really don't remember setting a password on this computer, and after changing the battery, the computer no longer wants to boot without it. Can you help me remove the password?
I read on the forum that someone who had a model similar to mine managed to remove the password, so I figured with any luck I'd find some help here.

I recently got this laptop on a trade labeled for parts, when first testing it, the motherboard starts on, the power LED stays on while the gpu and cpu fans ramp up in different speeds, then it turns off after half a minute or so.
No flashes from the LED daughterboard that indicates battery and HDD, but the battery seems perfect and even charges if plugged (with it's LED on accordingly).
BIOS and EC were reflashed, did a clean ME already, no change in symptom but then i noticed 3 things while looking through the board:

I got this laptop as a trade and from what I can find, there's no power on the motherboard other than the power coming from the charger. I can find 20v by the charger but no other power rails anywhere else. Is this a bad charging ic or what would cause this. I've used a thermal imager and there's nothing hot.... -
