    39L22U Toshiba LED TV

All of a sudden our TV just shut off last night as we were watching the last episode of Narcos.. I had been using an TERK HDMI switcher on the unit w power supply. Will not power up, no lights..nada. Can't find any resources on this model whatsoever. Does anyone have a schematic for this unit? I'm not getting the 12v on the indicated port on PS.

Does the Power light come on at the front? are you getting StdBy 5Vdc? (It may be 3.6Vdc)

        No power light.

I'm not seeing a mark for StdBy.
        Just these:
        BLON
        DIM
        ACD
        PWON
        5vcc
        12Vcc
        GND
        12Va
        GND

        Thank you!

5vcc would be 5v DC correct? No voltage..

Just making sure here.. Do I check using the 5vcc and GND contacts on that connection point?

O.k. So now you have to be really carefully as you are going to be checking the primary side of the power supply. Measure if you have any DC power on the 2 long brown filter caps. Don't slip. Positive and Negative on each capacitor. You should see 170V DC or so.
Check that 4A fuse (with the power off) and your meter set to resistance (Ohms)

We also are going to need a picture of the backside of the PSU.

No voltage at the 12Vcc or 12Va either..

we have to figure out why there isn't any 5v there. Without it nothing is going to work.

unplug the psu and check that white fuse with your meter set to resistance, measure across the fuse.

O.k. if the fuse is blown, to 99.% there is something else bad too. So you would have to check all diodes, and Mosfets for a short in the primary circuit. Also check the bridge rectifier for a short. PSU not connected to power anymore of course.

Will do. Going to go get some fuses and a 60watt soldering iron. I suspect it will have a few bad parts. I just don't want to buy a replacement PSU. What fun would that be?
