This is driving me crazy. Whenever the TV is turned off, it seems to lose its user settings. The next time you turn it on you have to adjust things like the contrast and brightness, etc. It seems to not lose the settings if its only turned off for a short time. I've tested it a few times. I don't know what is causing this. I hope its not a bad memory capacitor or something? I really hope there is some simple solution for this. I have read through the owners manual and can't find anything that talks about specifically saving the settings some way. I just adjust everything and press enter and exit the menu.

Sounds like the EEPROM or flash memory responsible for saving settings has reached end of life. They have a limited number of write cycles, after which the data retention gets significantly worse and they are no longer reliable.Please do not PM me with questions!
