I have a sony bravia 40cx520 tv. thinking i could fix it with a board swap... problem 1. 3 red flashing light code.....
1a. i get out my multimeter and test standby voltage... 3.3v
2. i check every connection to the tv, all is good, no dust or corrosion, No damage to any capacitors or resistors or transistors/mosfets that's visiable
Que> board replacement time, I replace, power board Same 3 red flashing light code... I replace mainboard... that's where things got interesting....
1. I turn power on..... 0.1second of backlight, just a flash... 2. green and orange light flash at the same time and continue to flash every 0.5 seconds forever, with no breaks or sequence to speak of.... Any ideas ?
