In need of help please. LG 50pq60 issues.

Hello to all you great people trying to help others. I don't know if this is the spot to post a question but here goes. i have an lg 50pq60 that when you press the on button goes immediately into power cycling. i have tested the PS and all is well even AC_DET is perfect 5v. I then disconnected the y-sus connector and the relay on the PS clicks once and all voltages are within range from the PS output terminals. I found a blown fuse on the y-sus board which was the one circled in green and temporarily repaired. Same problem as the start though. If I dissconnect the y-sus from the buffer the same relay cycling occurs. Also with the x-sus board disconnected too. But when i disconnect the connector circled in blue, with all the others connected the y-sus board energizes and emits a buzzing sound and begins to get hot in the areas circled in red. Which leads me to believe the y-sus board has a short. Oddly enough when i unplug the connector circled black, with everything else plugged in, the relay clicks once on power up but there is no heat or noise from any board? No picture at all during all tests.I would appreciate it greatly if someone could focus my energy on the right board to fix. I am thinking all is bad with y-sus board and it is causing all the problems. I am skilled but new to TV repair and wish to further my skills and not slap a FRU into it and hope for the best. I thank all for the vast amount of literature this site contains! It is a valuable resource to all who wish to understand things and learn to fix things again.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
    by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

    Assuming...

Mitsubishi CNC switching power supply board dead / relay board bad diode failure
    by sam_sam_sam
I was working on this CNC machine today found no keyboard functioning no control relay powering on
The screen powered on and was giving an operation error but the manual was not very clear about what the error exactly was but with a little bit of troubleshooting and finding out that the control relays not powering on and no keyboard functions we narrowed down to this one switching power supply which of course does not have any indicator LED light they are on the keyboard interface/relay controller board

Found shorted diodes on main controller relays there are 3 of them that...

    Sony xbr-65x900c main board issues?
    by jb_Bak
Hey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.

Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board
    CN6401
    Pin 01 NC
    Pin 02 NC
    Pin 03 "BL_ON": 0V
    Pin 04 "N/C"
    Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
    Pin 06 "GND": N/C
    Pin 07 "AC_OFF"...

HP Pavilion 15-eh Board DAG7HAMB8F0 - CPU throttling to 0.4GHz (PROCHOT_EXT) and black screen
    by m1ch43lzm
Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

    Repair Success! Middle Atlantic UPS2200R-IP
    by valvashon
Yesterday I successfully repaired a Middle Atlantic UPS2200R-IP that had inadvertently been used as a surge suppressor at our transmitter site. It has already been replaced with an updated one but it's coming home with me now instead of being e-cycled. To be specific, this is the MA model that has the blue backlit display and has been discontinued, although this design may have been used in many UPS units including the smaller Middle Atlantic ones in this series.

Here's what happened: We experienced a brownout/surge at the site, which damaged the UPS and took our broadcasting...
