    Panasonic TX-P42S30E Plasma Vertical Lines

I have Panasonic TX-P42S30E Plasma with vertical lines that can be seen in photos attached.
My question is: Is it defective panel or some other fault? If it is panel it is not worth repairing.

I would say PDP fault, but the good news is all the boards would be good , The SN alone would bring almost as much as the set is worth working

Thank you I will try to sell it in parts then, since I have no more ideas what to do.

Your best bet is to remove the A board and SN board and sell them individually on eBay or elsewhere. The rest of the boards aren't worth much but it might be worth selling them too.

Samsung 55" UN55JS9000 - Pink vertical lines due to chipped LCD panel?
              by Anonmis
Hello all, I was recently repairing my Samsung 55" UN55JS9000 tv from the common burnt backlight LED's and cracked light guide panel issue. After replacing the LED's and putting the TV back together, I tested the tv and all I was getting was sound but no image. Somewhere along the way (could be related to the next issue) the T-Con board became damaged and after replacing it I have made a little bit of progress but now have bright pink vertical lines and still no image.

The bigger issue .... I took the TV apart again and realized that I likely didn't sit the LCD panel correctly...

              Failure Symptom

No picture, just red vertical stripes. Google search shows quite common problem for these recent Vizio M series although red vertical stripe pattern may differ. Some call it "Netflix" boot screen haha.

              Where is the short?

Panel has 4x buffer boards. Quickly found the 1/4 panel buffer board with the problem by selectively disconnecting buffer board flex cables.

Having recently fixed another Vizio with similar symptoms that was a shorted ESD diode array ( link ) Probed the ESD diode array but...

              Vertical Lines Panasonic Plasma Th-37PX80
              by lupinIII
Hello everyone, I've been browsing this forum but I didn't find similar vertical lines like this on Panasonic Plasmas

So they are not all over the screen but there's lines on both halves of the screen. The lines are also present with no signal, at least some of them but I can't distinguish all of them with no input. With no input the vertical lines on the right side are definitely more visible.

It started with one line half a year ago, then two and has been increasing the number of lines.

Where or what could be the problem? What steps should I take?...

Samsung Plasma TV with vertical lines (model PN50B430P2D)
              by afex
This is my 2nd broken TV I'm trying to fix and haven't been able to figure out... currently going without any working TVs so am hoping to be able to fix one..

This Samsung PN50B430P2D Plasma has this big block of vertical lines which will fade in shortly after turning the TV on. The lines will sometimes flicker a bit or fade in/out and sometimes it just stays present. The length of time it takes them to appear varies, sometimes its a few minutes and other times it appears immediately after powering on.

I have attached an image of the TV with these bars displaying....

              by ridaKHI
I have a problem with my Samsung LCD panel a320ap20s4lv0.4. There appears vertical lines where ever there is text . See my pictures.
this problem only happen with HDMI input, not with VGA
the picture is so good with VGA input
Could this be fixed by cutting some kind of tracks on PCB that drives the LCD panel?
vgh even vgh odd signal from Shift Register
              and directly connected to panel?
Thanks for all the help in advance.
