    LG 60PK750-UA - 60" Plasma No Picture/Sound

Hey guys! You all helped me out in the past with fixing another LG TV. Well I was given an LG 60PK750-UA 60" Plasma TV that is having issues.

When you turn the TV on, the power light turns from red to white like it normally does. I can also slightly see like the display is going to turn on (like the back light?) but I never get any sort of picture/sound. I also hear a "Click". However then it eventually like turns itself off being the power light then turns back to red.

Should I assume the a power supply or main board? Not sure if there is something that commonly goes on this exact model.

    Pictures of the boards.
Do you have a digital meter?

Ok you need to check voltages.

VS and VA are located on the power supply.
VSC and -VY are located on the Y-sustain (board to the left of the powersupply)
Z-bias is locate on the z-sus (board located to the right of the powersupply)

They should match the voltages on your panel sticker. Like this:

-VY and VSC if there are no test points are sometimes measured across a resistor, but they should be labelled.

Hamie thanks for the reply. It maybe a few days till I get to testing the voltages. Being I currently don't have the TV in front of me at the moment. However once I do, I will record my results and get back to you. Thank you!

Start your own separate thread KISHAN then perhaps someone will answer. As it is, you're piggy backing on someone else's thread and that is not nice or may be considered rude in some quarters.

You can self-test the PSU Board by first disconnecting the PSU from the Main Board:
Step 1: On the P813 connector, connect Pin 10 (GND) to Pin 18 (Auto GND) with a piece of wire.
Step 2: Using a 100ohm resistor connect across Pin 13 (STBY 5V) and Pin 15 (RL ON)
Step 3: Using another 100ohm resistor connect across Pin 14 (STDBY 5V) and Pin 17 (M5 ON)
Step 4: Connect two (2) 120vAC 60W bulbs in series. On the P812 connector, connect the two (2) resulting ends of wire from bulbs across Pin 1 or 2 and Pin 4, 5 or 8.
                  Step 5: Plug-in PSU Board to 120Vac.
                  Bulbs should glow bright.
Step 6: Measure Vdc across Pin 1 and Pin 8. If PSU working should read 192Vdc on DMM.

I've the exact same problem, with this same model.
Have you managed to work out a solution?

I bought mine exactly 4 years ago today :-(

Hey everyone. I was supposed to get the TV from the owner to finish inspecting it and try to diagnose the issue. However he wound up changing his mind and trashed the TV vs having me look it over. Thanks everyone for the input. I honestly wonder if it would have been an easy repair or not. You said you can turn the TV on and off. What exactly does that mean? Do you mean then have audio but no picture? You are able to manipulate the Menu to change the inputs? OR are you just hearing a 'click' when the power button is pressed and then another 'click' a while after?

Did you accidentally double post on another thread? Why not open your own thread to make it easier?

                            by kca
                            Hello all ~

I’m working on this Samsung 60” LED and purchased a new main board a couple of days ago that did not fix the 5 blink issue. The original main board’s HDMI ports (all 4 of them) failed to work and no amount of reflow remedied that.

This 5 red light blink code on the front panel LED is followed (about 15-20 seconds afterward) by an automatic reboot, and results in 5 more red light blinks. Then the entire cycle repeats itself indefinitely.

                            No picture. No sound.

I tested all the voltages coming out of the power supply...

Hi, I'm new here and looking for some advice on how to diagnose an issue i have with 2 samsung TVs.

I have a UE32J5500AK and a UE48H6400AK both with the same issue of red light but nothing happening on the screen, the red light responds to remote or button press by flashing once but stays red. I have searched forums but most turn up a blinking red light.

I have tried replaceing the power board on the UE32J5500AK last year but this resulted in the same outcome.
The UE48H6400AK recently developed some small bright areas on the screen, then last week would not power...

                            Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
                            - sound and backlight, but no picture
                            - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
                            - it keeps rebooting
                            - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                            - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

                            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

LG 32LG3000 TV, three red light flashes, then the backlight turns on, but no picture
                            by ItepK
Hello everyone! I've found this television, and I began troubleshooting it.

First, the television kept rapidly power cycling. I've warmed up the capacitors with a hairdryer, and after 3 dimmed red blinks, the backlight turned on, then turned dim, and no picture was present on the screen.

I believed that this was caused by a bad power supply producing insufficent power (I've measured 3.5v on the 5.2v rail), so I've blindly recapped the board.

After the recapping, all the voltages stableized, however, the issue in the title still remains.

                            I could...

                            Hi

Im hoping someone might be able to give me some idea of what may be wrong with my Monitor Audio RSW12 Sub.

Ive owned it since new in around 2002, so would really like to keep it running if I can, it was the first ‘decent' bit of audio equipment I ever purchased and is a little sentimental.

The issue I had was that it would power up with the red light, but sometimes the green light would not come on and I would get no bass from it. If the green light did come on though, I would get sound out of it.

I have already tried replacing all of the...
