Hello,
I'm dealing with quite strange situation - the TV works perfectly fine, only the menu is not displayed at all. However it is responding to all buttons pressed on the remote control. In other words: movies are played with clear picture and sound, and when I press a button on the remote control, the corresponding action is triggered (e.g. tv channel/volume/signal source is changed, etc.), but no TV-generated OSD information is drawn on the screen. Additionally, my friend, the owner of this lovely device, says that earlier the OSD had been "shaking" (again, with no issues on the TV-playback).
Based on that and since I couldn't find any documentation for this device, nor similar problem described anywhere, I can only suspect a cold solder or dry capacitor. My main doubt is - where? Would it be the main board (where the menu is generated, I believe) or rather the power supply?
Thanks for any advice!
