50" plasma TV: TV is clicking but the screen doesn't power on

    Hello there.
I have a Samsung Plasma PS50B456B2W television. When i try to turn it on, it will just repeatedly click and nothing happens on the screen. I have replaced nearly all the capacitors with no luck. When i remove the connector between the power-board and the YSUS-board (LJ41-05905A), i can measure the correct voltage at "Vs", but when the two boards are connected the voltage jumps between 0V and 15V. Also if i remove the cable, the audio on the TV will turn on. Any suggestions? Is it the power-board or the YSUS-board or the screen that is faulty? I have attached some pictures.

Any help will be very apreciated!!!

    UPDATE!!!
I have detach the Y-board and i can meassure that Vs and GND is shorted. Any ideas how to fix this???

I was going to suggest checking Vs-gnd on ymain. As far as repairing the Ymain, might be easier to find a working board since this has the buffer boards integrated.

There is a kit in the UK suggesting some clues what to look for

and this comment, lease check R5085 / R5086, if there is a short across them then don't buy this kit as one or more of your buffer IC's have blown.

always best to use advanced, manage attachments and upload to the site(max 2000x2000) that way they can be zoomed in better than the external site you used

Thank you alot for your help. I have come to the conclusion that 1 of the two power mosfets is dead (IRFP4332). A new one i my country cost 20USD. I don't know if anything else i broken, so i might just buy a new board.

Do you have a good testing method for knowing if a mosfet is dead or not? I just measured the resistance between the mid-pin (drain) and first the gate and then the source. In the bad mosfet the resistance was near 0ohm. But how the other one could still be bad, even if it isn't shorted, am i correct?

Hello. I have found a replacement board for my LJ92-01601A. The board i have found is revision AA2. My board is AA1. This shouldn't matter right?
