    Panasonic TX-P55VT30 Y-SUS repair

    Hi all.
    I have a Panasonic plasma TX-P55VT30 with a blown Y-sus.
Any tech advice how to rebuild this one?

I'd do a bit of a search on the board number and maybe check the kits out for some clues.

    I did a St30 50", rjh30h2 x 3 and 1 x 30f131 shorted but replaced all 6 with FGD4536 and that got that going. has not had much of a run though.

I'd say the same pitfalls may lurk with a chance of FET driver ic, driver transistor cph5524 and igbt plus maybe dpak diodes and resistors.

Hi this is much the same repair as TNPA 5349 SN but this is a SC, check for buffer shorts first, you can do this with the boards still in the set go across C842 and check low ohms is bad. the parts that you need to check on the SC are
        D401/2
        Q401/2/3
        Q421/2/3
        IC502
        Q531
only parts that differ between the two boards is the use of a DAF30A diode not the RNF10 used on the 5349 board Hope this is of help Flocko
