    LG LED 47LV5500 Weird Color Problem

    Picked this up and not shure how to fix.

    Opened it up and checked the connections thinking something simple but no luck.

    See the pics.

    Weird how some colors show fine but some don't. Never seen anything like it.

      Probable T-Con/Gamma Correction-chip issue--IF this set has one! Seen many sets with hideous coulour/brightness issues related to the Gamma Correction.

      Take pictures of the internal boards and post 'em here....

          Took some more pics. Standard win7 desktop. Last pic is what the colors look like on a working laptop screen.

          Updated the firmware and software. No luck. Checked the boards. No signs of burning/ melting.


          Think its the Panel? If the panel is good can order a new board for it.

          Or possibly a bad connection?

              Hello!
              I have this very weird problem, I got this rx580 nitro saphire and the fans don't even spin but the saphire logo is lit.
              All voltage rails are present except for VCORE at the coils, then I started checking NCP81022 and it has voltage but vdd pwrgd is missing, enable EN is missing it shows 2.5ohm, everything seems fine, i tried checking the back of the card, to see where the enable pin goes, i dont have a schematic so i started touching randomly until i measured a resistor on the back and the fans started spinning, now I was amazed like what is wrong here?               The laptop was working fine, the only problem was that when I turned it on, the screen was hard to turn on, it would wait for about 30-40 seconds before an image appeared on the screen.

              Hi all, first time seeing a LED problem this weird so I wanted to discuss with y'all before handing back this TV to my costumer.

              This TV came to my shop with no picture but sound present. So I thought ok this must be a LED problem and I shine a light with my phone's torch amd and yup I see the image.               I have an LG Plasma TV 60PM6700 for the past ~12 years.

              In the last ~3-4 months I have been having some issues.
              1. Problem: It started with random picture disappearing (sound still worked).
                Frequency: Happened about once a week.
                Solution: Had to turn off TV wait a few seconds before turning it on again.
              2. Problem: Then it got worse and the TV started to shut down and when turning on the no picture just sound.
                Frequency: Happened about once a week.
                Solution: Had to turn off TV wait about 10-20 seconds and turn it on again to solve.

              Hi guys,

              If I unplugged the battery and the charger, then plug the battery then the charger, it charges without problem.
              Then if I unplug the charger and plug it back, it won't charge anymore.
              In the first case, main voltage is regulated at ~12.5V and charges the battery.
              After unplugging the charger, main voltage drops to battery voltage at ~11.5V.
              After replugging the charger, main voltage stays at ~11.5V and won't go up to ~12.5V again.
