LG 50pt350 plasma tv will not come on

I was given an LG 50pt350 television the other day. When I got it to the house and plugged it in I found that the tv did not come on. I checked for any standby lights but I don't have any in, there is no clicking noise or backlight either. I assumed that the power supply board was the problem so I ordered one and replaced, but still the same. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated thank you

Ok on the connector to the mainboard (the one with the hdmi scart etc)
You should see a pin marked 5vstby.

Do you get 5v

DMM on dc volts, black probe to the tv chassis, red probe pushed into the 5vstby pin.

Ok so when I disconnect the connector from the power supply board to the main board (the one with all the peripheral hookups) the tv clicks and it appears that the back lights come on( screen turns grey). I did not check the voltage yet, does this help any?
