Tv turned on I changed channel then screen went pink for about a second then went black. When power applied, led comes on and goes off as normal when power button pressed. The screen lightens momentarily but returns to permanent black. There is no sound. I have checked all the voltages on the boards and connecters as described in the service manual and they all seem OK. There is a very slight hum on the Y board so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.

Hi all, looking for some help to get started on troubleshooting without schematics
I have used Dell Latitude 5530 SouthPeak15 MLK 203102-1 schematics from forum although this board is a little bit different.
I am a bit lost on USBC PD circuit and what to measure - here is what i have done so far.- no coils are shorted - one is showing about 15ohms but others are in kohms or infinite resistance.
- most of the coils are showing 5V, 1.3V, 3V etc except 2 of them.
- i have measured 16.5V available at the capacitor

I have had these 70 watt high pressure sodium yard lights for many years now probably at least 15 years or more and there is a protection diode that after several years starts to go bad and when it does this it has momentarily shutting down the light and then a few minutes later it starts working again
This about the forth time I have fixed this one and you can tell if it the diode or not if it lights up and it only shuts down when the air conditioner turns on then it is the diode
If it cycling on and off constantly then it is the bulb itself that is the issue

Hello, I came here after finding some similar questions asked on other monitors and hope someone here can help me get an ancient Viewsonic VP230mp (23" 4:3 LCD) back to working condition.
First a little background, I have a background in computer and electrical engineering, and I'm smart enough to know I know nothing about LCD displays and how they work. For this topic I'm as green as they come.

My Vizio P702ui-B3 won't turn on if the power goes out and comes back on. I have to unplug the TV for several hours before it will work again. If I plug it in too soon, I have to start the whole wait all over again. Any idea what might be wrong with it?07-22-2021, 09:59 PM -

This is the second time I'm asking for advice in this forum. The first was about troubleshooting a PSU, which resulted in a successful repair. Naturally I want another fix of the Ikea effect.
Today I'm trying to diagnose a Dell 2209wa monitor manufactured 2008, and used 12000 h (according to factory menu). It worked fine all these years up until the other day. You'll find schematics in the attached pdf.
