New,,, love the site and the whole idea of recycling rather than throwing. i'm normally pretty good with stuff but this one has me a bit confused.
I have this tv and love it. It was being thrown away by someone and I rescued it from the dump!! Great picture but recently I am getting a kind of intermittent sound issue, like a wobbly sound,, sounds like clipping would in an amp, the sound doesn't flow, it's broken up with silent bits (best description i can think of). It doesn't always do it,,, bit random so might be something starting to fail. Anyone know anything about this? What board or component it my be?
I'd appreciate any info. Downloaded a service manual bit it only covers total sound loss. There are lots of parts around for sale so if i can isolate the issue to a board might just replace the board (and maybe fix the old one as a future spare if possible).
