New,,, love the site and the whole idea of recycling rather than throwing. i'm normally pretty good with stuff but this one has me a bit confused.

I have this tv and love it. It was being thrown away by someone and I rescued it from the dump!! Great picture but recently I am getting a kind of intermittent sound issue, like a wobbly sound,, sounds like clipping would in an amp, the sound doesn't flow, it's broken up with silent bits (best description i can think of). It doesn't always do it,,, bit random so might be something starting to fail. Anyone know anything about this? What...

Hello all, joined as came across site while googling about the wobbly sound on my LG 50PX4D-EB. I am really into repairing things and keep the scrap yards empty so really want to find the culprit board and get a new one. Anyone can help drop me a mail.

TV has great picture and sometimes the sound is fine but other times it's intermittent almost sounds like a broken speaker you'd get in a hifi,,, kind of clipping in and out. I'll naturally start a thread when i am able.
