Well I was in currys today looking at various items, of course I went over to the tv section to see what junk they were selling lots of cheap samsungs and some lg oled tvs, never seen a oled tv before and the first thing that caught my eye was that the menu logo was either burned into or retained deeply to the screen. This is scary and misleading I feel because all the reviews strongly state that this new tech doesnt suffer from burn in as its not phostpher based but is that true but apart from that the picture looked bloody good. I took a photo excuse the poor quality as I didnt want to look suspicious in the shop, but can the new oled burn this fast ?

Re: Oled tv bad image burn & retention 😒
No one says OLED doesn't burn in. Well, if they do, they're idiots. It's an emissive screen so it will burn.
If you just watch normal TV it will be ok. It's people who use them as desktop monitors or on a single news channel who need to watch out. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!
