Samsung 32" LE32C450E1W TV unusual Fault

Hi< I have the above TV and it has an unusual fault, It runs perfectly normal until I use any of the menus, shortly after the menu is displayed a vertical red line appears near the left hand side, if I leave the menu up the line gets deeper in colour and spreads across the screen, any help would be appreciated, I have done a factory reset and cleaned the LCD ribbon
    Thanks in advance

Weird. What if you try sending it a test pattern that looks similar to the menu?

This is after 20 seconds of the menu being pressed

This is about a minute later

I found that once the menu is off the red line fades away after about 2 minutes

Hook it up to a computer and display a similar image or such, perhaps?

Weird that it only shows up with the menu and goes away after... At first guess that would make me think something is wrong with the logic board, but then perhaps a bad panel\driver etc might be responding to that specific kind of picture.

TV Samsung UE55HU8500L (2014) – service menu + firmware reflashing advice needed
                  by Robby-Gr
                  Hi all,

I’m trying to recover a Samsung UE55HU8500L (curved UHD, 4K model from 2014) after replacing the panel. The new panel is a 55A1UU8EH, which produces excellent image quality — very close to the original.

However, since the swap, the TV enters a boot loop (Samsung logo → restart) unless I enter the service menu and perform a reset.

The service mode had been previously modified — possibly by a technician or during the panel swap — and I suspect some key settings are mismatched for the European (Greece) market.

                  Additional issues:...
