      The TV is *finally* in its final resting place My son took the 46" 3D LED that I picked up for $80 and only needed a firmware update, so this one went in the game room.

        Holy cow!
        BTW, if you start hearing squealing sound from the speakers or the TV start cycling on and off, then you need to change C102 on the main board.

            Can't swing a dead cat around the Dallas area without hitting a Samsung with a bad t-con gamma IC. In fact, I picked up another one of the exact same model as this one (which started this thread) to have a matching set in my game room. Graph below.

            The TV that started this thread is on the left side (image above), the TV that started this thread is on the right side now (pic above was taken before I hung it). But they're noticeably different in person, so having this matched set will make me happy.
