Old projo set--Mitsibushi VS_60601- VZ4 chassis...

This is a 99 or so model Mits big screen. This guy wants this set FIXED. My first look at it reveals NO fluid leaks or such. And supposedly the last time it ran--it all looked fine--so maybe the tubes are ok. I told him will do my best. I took the light box.

I have yet to dig into it--but it seems to have a 5 volt problem. Of course there is NO power on. I have the raw standby off of the standby power supply, 21 and 12 volts... but do not seem to have 5 volts. On the remote connector I am only getting about 1.5 volts. I suspect cap problems--as I have seen so many times on these sets.

Does anyone here have access to the service manual for this chassis. VZ4 chassis. It would make things a LOT easier for me.

Ok. I DID find a bit of leakage--not too bad, on front of signal board. Cleaned up now-- replaced a diode with corroded connections.. and set is running now-- tubes look good...but the A/V board is broken in two--happened while moving box.

Does anyone here have a board , # 935D326001, good board, they could part with--seems to have been used in a good # of mits sets.
