The wife and I were watching TV the other night and noticed that the picture got darker. We checked other stations and even check the dish network guide and everything was darker. I read a few post and it seemed that everything pointed to the inverter board. I ordered the inverter board and swapped it out but this did not fix the issue. Just wondering if anyone might have some ideas on where I can start to fix this issue. I don't have any schematics. So, I don't have any idea on where to start taking voltage measurements. Any help would be appreciated. Just to clear everything up. I do have a picture but everything is darker now. Even if I increase the back light, it does not help.

Re: Samsung LN37A450C1D
I would try doing the factory reset: MUTE, 1, 8, 2 (https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...ght=mute+1+8+2) but you must be real careful once you get into service mode. This can be the T-CON board problem, you can take some DC Voltage readings:http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsear...ng+LN37A450C1D, I do not not which T-CON board you have, you will have to look at it, it will be under the metal shield.
I will let some one else explain the exact procedures since I not real good at giving instructions.
In the mean times please upload the back side of the TV so we can see all the boards using attachment functionLast edited by budm; 10-19-2014, 05:17 PM.Never stop learning

Re: Samsung LN37A450C1D
Oh another one of those AUOPTO LCD panel, check the DC voltage on the test point VGMA1 ~22.
Report each reading in sequence:
VGMA1: XXX V
.........
VGMA22: XXX V
We also need to see the P/N On the left IC with the yellow thermal transfer pad on it.Never stop learning
