Hello BadCaps Community!
I have a Samsung PN50C550G1FXZA which suddenly began showing a dark display with what appears to be a form of sparkles down in the lower right-hand corner (when facing the display). The image actively changes when I swap around inputs, but does so with what looks like a strong image burn. I had previously received some information that led me to replacing the X-Main, but doing so has led to no change in the display.
When the issue originally occurred the set was powered on & functioning normally, then abruptly changed to what appears attached below. I do not recall any odd noises (crackling, popping or anything of the like). Upon examining the internal boards I found no bulged capacitors.
Currently I am without a DMM.
From what I've scoured & collected from other forum posts has me questioning as to whether or not the issue may lay in the PSU, but honestly I am not sure where to head from here.
Any opinions or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for any help you may relay to my cause.
I will provide any additional information, if requested, to the best of my abilities.
Sincerely,
HamSa1ad
